Initial visits take approximately 1½ hours and involve a comprehensive health inquiry and assessment followed by a 30 minute acupuncture and/or massage treatment. Subsequent hour-long treatments involve a 15 minute consultation followed by a 45 minute treatment.
 
Specialized fertility treatments begin after an initial consultation & treatment.  Weekly, 1½ hour acupuncture treatments are then scheduled over a 12-week period.
 
A typical treatment plan involves bi-weekly acupuncture treatments over a 3 to 12 week period. However, receiving acupuncture at this frequency may be unaffordable. Therefore, Sweet Birch collaborates with the Roncesvalles Community Acupuncture Clinic to reduce the cost of your treatment plan. The community clinic provides acupuncture on a sliding scale of $20 - $40.

Patrons of the community clinic have the option to pay on the same sliding scale for ½ hour herbal consultations. Participants of the complete labour doula care package have the option to pay on the same sliding scale for additional acupuncture treatments or herbal consultations.
